May is Lupus Awareness Month! It’s an opportunity for the lupus community to join together across the country to raise funds and awareness of the physical, emotional and economic impact of lupus.

During May we all put in extra effort into letting the world know about lupus. We educate our communities and take to social media and let people know what lupus is, how it affects us and what we all can do about it.
Start a fundraiser to raise money for the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter and rally your friends and family to help you reach your goal. You can also have fun and raise awareness of lupus at the same time!
Donate $6, $16 or $60 - with the number 6 showing the average number of years it takes somebody with lupus to receive a diagnosis.
This year for World Lupus Day on May 10, 2021 we’re going to “Make Lupus Visible” using the power of social media to show the world the many faces of lupus and the impact of this debilitating autoimmune disease.
