Join the fight against lupus
Lupus advocates are the engine behind everything we do at the Lupus Foundation of America. Our advocates have pushed forward policy change on a massive scale and have generated more than $119 million in federal funding for lupus research and education.
Lupus advocates educate their elected officials about lupus' devastating toll and hold them accountable for supporting policies to accelerate the search for new treatments and provide compassionate care for people living with the disease.
You don’t need to be an expert in government or policy to be an advocate – all you need is your voice, your passion, and a commitment to making a difference.
Virtual Advocacy Day
In connection with the 2019 National Lupus Advocacy Summit, the Lupus Foundation of America will be hosting a Virtual Advocacy Day on Tuesday, March 5. As advocates in Washington for the Summit head to Capitol Hill to meet with their members of Congress, you can make our message even louder by contacting your members of Congress from home to tell your lupus story and urge them to support our priority issues.
To participate, sign up as an advocate below. On the morning of March 5, you'll receive an email with instructions for participating in Virtual Advocacy Day and raising your voice in support of those affected by lupus.
Together, we will solve this cruel mystery.
