The Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter NEEDS YOUR HELP!

If you have a desire to invest your time and talents in an organization that is having a positive impact on the lupus cause, we have just the place for you. With our small staff and the enormous amount of work to be done, we can grow and help many more lupus patients with the help of volunteers like yourself.

The Georgia Chapter has new and passionate leadership with opportunities for you to get involved and expand chapter programs, events and volunteer leadership.

Ways to Get Involved

  • Support Groups Join or create a support group and help us reach and serve patients. Our groups provide encouragement and coping skills in 23 different statewide locations.
  • Help in the Chapter Office in Smyrna Individuals are needed to help in our office with word-processing, preparing mailings, proofreading, computer networking, and assisting in a variety of other clerical duties.
  • Help with Community Outreach Volunteers could contact church and community groups, distribute literature, and arrange for speakers to make presentations at their meetings.
  • Become a Health Fair Representative Volunteers are needed to attend Health Fairs and other public events to display information, literature, and to answer questions.

Visit our Events page to see a full list of the exciting opportunities to get involved with the Georgia Chapter! Contact us at info@lfaga.org to get more information about our volunteer opportunities.
