Philadelphia Tri-State's Cheri Perron Joins National Board of Directors
The Lupus Foundation of America, Philadelphia Tri-State Chapter, is pleased to announce that Cheri Perron has recently joined the Lupus Foundation of America's National Board of Directors. Cheri has been an active member of the Philadelphia Tri-State Chapter for nearly 20 years.
Cheri is currently the Immediate Past Chair of our Chapter’s Board of Directors and has served the roles of Board Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary throughout her tenure. She continues to help coordinate volunteers within the Chapter as well as provide strategic direction to the organization.
Cheri was diagnosed with lupus in 1994 when it was still a relatively unknown disease and has been active with the Chapter since 2001. She will join Joseph Arnold and Phong Nguyen as National Board Members representing the Tri-State area. She brings a wealth of experience from her career in human resources and counseling, along with a clear passion for ending lupus.
Chapter CEO Cindy Messerle says, “Cheri not only helps the day-to-day workings of our office, but she is extremely effective in our local community, spreading our presence wherever she goes in her signature purple. I am excited that Cheri can elevate her efforts to the national stage and I look forward to the great things she will do!”
