The Lupus Foundation of America offers support groups, educational seminars, self-management tools, and more for the Lone Star region.  We are here to listen, to provide answers, and to give caring support to everyone affected by lupus.

The Lupus Foundation of America's support groups provide a safe and understanding environment where people with lupus can come together to ask questions, listen to others, or lend a helping hand. Please contact Wendy Rodgers prior to attending the first meeting to verify all information.

Each of our support groups is open to everyone. No matter who you are or where you live, you're welcome to join. 

Austin Lupus Support

Together We Fight. This group offers a supportive and inclusive space for individuals living with lupus, caregivers, and loved ones in the area to connect from the comfort of home. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with lupus for many years, this group is a place to listen, learn, and feel supported by others who truly understand.

Central Texas Lupus Support

In this hybrid support group, we share experiences, encouragement, and resources to make the journey with lupus a little easier. No one should fight lupus alone—find helpful information and connect with others who truly “get it.”

Dallas Lone Star Lupus Support

From the historic charm of Oak Cliff to the fast-growing suburbs of Plano, Frisco, and Irving, Dallas offers a blend of tradition, innovation, and warm community connection. Its deep Texas pride makes it a place where people feel both inspired and supported.

This group is for those living with lupus—and their loved ones—to connect with others, share experiences, and discover helpful resources. You are not alone on this journey.

Fort Worth Lupus Support

Fort Worth, located primarily in Tarrant County and extending into parts of Denton, Parker, and Wise counties, is a city where Western heritage and modern growth come together. Known as the place “Where the West Begins,” Fort Worth blends the charm of its historic Stockyards with thriving arts districts, diverse neighborhoods, and the welcoming, community-minded spirit Texans are known for. 

This support group serves individuals living with lupus—and their loved ones—throughout Fort Worth and the surrounding counties. Here, you can connect with others who understand what you’re going through, share experiences, and find helpful resources to support you on your journey.

Life with Lupus Uncensored Support

This regional support group meets weekly for open, honest conversations with the lupus community across Central and West Texas, including Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, El Paso, and Lubbock. This is a judgment-free space to talk about the real intersection of lupus and mental health—where challenges, victories, and everything in between are welcome.
