Lupus & You

A free educational series where people with lupus, their family and friends can learn more about the latest in lupus research and managing the disease. You’ll hear about helpful resources and tools, as well as ways to engage in advocacy and awareness efforts to help bring an end to lupus. While these programs are available by webinar or in-person, with the COVID-19 pandemic, they are all currently taking place in a virtual format.

Join us for a special Lupus & You: What Happens if I Can't Work Anymore?  webinar on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 7pm EST.

In Exercise for Lupus Patients physical therapist, Dr. Robert Voorhees discusses the benefits of an active lifestyle and offers concrete ways for lupus patients to adopt an exercise regimen. Dr. Voorhees balances notes of caution and potential mobility limitations (e.g., bed rest, wheelchair use, etc.) to empower us to move our bodies safely and live life to the fullest.
