Lupus & You

A free educational series where people with lupus, their family and friends can learn more about the latest in lupus research and managing the disease. You’ll hear about helpful resources and tools, as well as ways to engage in advocacy and awareness efforts to help bring an end to lupus. While these programs are available by webinar or in-person, with the COVID-19 pandemic, they are all currently taking place in a virtual format.

Empowerment Mini-Series 

With a lupus diagnosis comes many questions. In the Empowerment Mini-Series, we help you go from surviving to thriving. We will cover topics on a variety of issues in less than 20 minutes. So grab a cup of coffee or tea and join us for a quick lesson!

Exercise for Lupus Patients Part 1

Exercise helps keep our bones and muscles strong. In Exercise for Lupus Patients physical therapist, Dr. Robert Voorhees discusses the benefits of an active lifestyle and offers concrete ways for lupus patients to adopt an exercise regimen. Dr. Voorhees balances notes of caution and potential mobility limitations (e.g., bed rest, wheelchair use, etc.) to empower us to move our bodies safely and live life to the fullest.
