Brain fog is a very common lupus symptom—70 to 80 percent of people experience it at some point in their lupus journey. The past PNW Lupus & You event taught us more about brain fog, its symptoms, management techniques, and more. We heard from speakers Shannon Boxx, a 3-time Olympic gold medalist and World Cup Champion who lives with lupus, and Dr. Erik Anderson, a rheumatologist and researcher at Northwell Health in New YorkListen to the Recording
Thank you for joining us for the third Pacific Northwest Lupus & You event of the year, which focused on "Taking Care of Your Mental Health." Our keynote speaker, Angela Farrar Small, discussed mindful self-compassion, which uses mindfulness to increase our awareness of the present and self-compassion to help us be kinder to ourselves.
