Reeve Bright Named the Lupus Foundation of America’s Inaugural Men on a Mission™ Top Fundraiser
The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) is proud to announce Reeve Bright as the top fundraiser of the LFA’s inaugural Men on a Mission™ campaign. Spanning eight weeks, this philanthropic competition united fathers, sons, brothers, and partners of people living with lupus in a shared mission to raise critical awareness and funds in honor of their loved ones.
Lupus affects families, not just the person diagnosed. While 90% of people living with lupus are women, the men in their lives are fighting alongside them every day. Men on a Mission was created to give these men a powerful platform to turn their love and loyalty into lasting impact.
Reeve raised $17,000 in honor of his wife Anne who was diagnosed with lupus at 30 but had shown symptoms as a child. The inaugural class - a group of dedicated and passionate leaders - collectively raised $32,000 to support the LFA's tireless work to end lupus.
Reeve will be recognized as the 2026 Men on a Mission Top Fundraiser at the LFA's 2026 Evelyn V. Hess Reception, hosted by the LFA's National Board of Directors.
“Anne’s journey inspired me to become involved with the Lupus Foundation of America decades ago, and that inspiration continues to drive me today. While we have made important progress in lupus research and care, there is still more work to be done. The Lupus Foundation of America continues to lead the way in advancing research, improving lives, and moving us closer to a cure. I am deeply honored to be named the inaugural 2026 Man on a Mission. This recognition belongs to everyone who supported this campaign and the lupus community we proudly stand beside. Most of all, it is a tribute to Anne and all those living with lupus whose strength and resilience inspire me every day," shares Reeve.
Reeve was joined by Steve Kalkman, John Madden, Tim McCaskell, Rodney Ross, and Dr. Amit Saxena as this year’s Men on a Mission. We thank every member of the inaugural class and their networks of supporters for advancing our mission to improve the future of everyone living with lupus.
