Thirty-One Faces of Hope: Kent Ruby

The lupus community includes people living with lupus, friends, family and supporters across Georgia. For Lupus Awareness Month, we would like to highlight some of our lupus heroes and champions.

Kent Ruby

Please join us in honoring and thanking Kent Ruby.

Kent is the reason we have so many wonderful pictures to use for our website, social media and our email communications, program, and event collateral. Kent manages to capture the heart and soul of his subjects, conveying the passion of our mission and efforts.

Elaine, his wife, has been an integral part of everything we do since 2007. From working as our bookkeeper to volunteering at our programs and events, Elaine is part of our chapter family. Elaine recently retired and we miss seeing her smiling face and wonderful attitude around the office.

Kent is an amazingly talented photographer and friend who has taken pictures at all of our walks, galas, golf tournaments, advocacy days, and education programs. We easily have more than 10,000 photos

Kent and Elaine are loved by all in the lupus community. The staff and board of the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter are grateful for their incredible contributions to our successes throughout the years.
