This presentation will look at the features of systemic lupus erythematosus and those of people whose diagnosis overlaps with other autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, dermatomyositis or polymyositis, scleroderma, and Sjogren syndrome. We will cover how they are similar and different, and the approaches to treatment.

Dr. Antonelli is a rheumatologist in the Division of Rheumatology at Case Western Reserve University Department of Medicine at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. She is a passionate physician that cares greatly for the lupus community.
