Amazon Rocks Purple
May is Lupus Awareness Month and Amazon's Middle Mile Team is coming together to raise awareness and funds to support lupus research, care and support services, and educational resources and programs for those living with lupus.
Amazon Rocks Purple is Amazon's Middle Mile Team’s month-long challenge to raise awareness and funds for lupus in memory of former Middle Mile Performance Manager, Reenu Parmar. Throughout May for Lupus Awareness Month, employees will join forces with the Lupus Foundation of America and get active – however and wherever they’d like – while making an impact in the fight against lupus.
How it Works
Step 1: Register and Join Amazon Rocks Purple
Join the event through the Amazon Rocks Purple Tiltify Event Page: https://tiltify.com/lupus-foundation-of-america/amazon-rocks-purple-2024
Tiltify is a social fundraising platform that brings together charities, digitial communities, companies, individuals and brands to make a difference through campaigns like Amazon Rocks Purple.
- Click "Register" and follow the prompts to build your campaign. If you are new to Tiltify, please follow the prompts to get signed up.
- Once you complete registration, follow the instructions on how to link your Tiltify page to your fitness tracker of choice (Fitbit, Garmin or Strava).
- Upon registration, a fundraising page will be created for you. If you aren't interested in fundraising at this time, no problem. If you want to take the extra step by raising funds, fantastic! Tell people what you are doing and why by posting your fundraising link on social media and sending emails and texts asking friends, family and coworkers to donate and support you.
Step 2: Run, jog, walk, bike, swim, hike, paddle - get active and make an impact however you would like
ANYTIME and ANYWHERE during the month of May
Step 3: Learn more about lupus along the way
Every Friday during the month of May, Amazon's Middle Mile Team will provide a fact about lupus. Learn more about how lupus affects the 1.5 million Americans living with lupus and how your efforts are helping make an impact in their lives.
