Amazon Rocks Purple
May is Lupus Awareness Month, and Amazon Transportation Services and Fulfillment Centers are coming together with Amazon Web Services to raise awareness and funds in support of lupus research, care and support services, and educational resources and programs for those living with lupus.
Amazon Rocks Purple is a month-long campaign that unites employees across Amazon Transportation Services, Fulfillment Centers, and Amazon Web Services to raise awareness and funds for lupus in honor of lupus warriors and their loved ones at Amazon. Each May, in recognition of Lupus Awareness Month, employees join forces with the Lupus Foundation of America to get active, participate in awareness initiatives, and support fundraising efforts - making a meaningful impact in the fight against lupus.
The program was established by the Middle Mile Team in 2023 in memory of former Middle Mile Performance Manager Reenu Parmar, whose legacy continues to inspire this incredible campaign.
How it Works
Step 1: Register and Join Amazon Rocks Purple
Join the event by registering through the Amazon Rocks Purple Tiltify Team Pages. Tiltify is a social fundraising platform that supports campaigns like Amazon Rocks Purple. Click “Support this Campaign” and follow the prompts to join your team or create your page.

Interested in Fundraising? A personal Tiltify fundraising page will be created upon registration. If you're not interested in fundraising at this time, no problem. If you want to take the extra step by raising funds, fantastic! Share your page via social media, email, slack or text if you choose to raise funds and help support the fight against lupus.

Join the Amazon Rocks Purple group on Strava, the free online fitness tracker app that all Amazon Rocks Purple participants will be invited to use to track miles and steps, connect across departments departments and companies and celebrate accomplishments.

Every Friday during the month of May, Amazon's First, Middle Mile and Web Services Teams will provide a fact about lupus. Learn more about how lupus affects the 1.5 million Americans living with lupus and how your efforts are helping make an impact in their lives.
