Race to End Lupus at the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon
The application to join the 2026 team is now live! If you are interested in joining us at the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, please fill out our application form no later than 5pm ET on March 8, 2026 to be considered for the team.
The Lupus Foundation is proud to be an official charity partner of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. We will once again take on the largest marathon in the world – starting on Staten Island at the foot of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, running through the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx before ending in Manhattan, crossing the finish line in Central Park - while raising money for lupus research, increasing awareness of the disease and rallying support for those who suffer from its brutal impact.
This year’s marathon marks the 50th anniversary of the historic five-borough course, and now is your chance to apply to join this year’s LFA Racing to End Lupus team as we represent in purple!
Runners who join the Lupus Foundation of America as we Race to End Lupus in NYC, Receive:
- 16-week training programs
- Access to a marathon coach
- Monthly virtual training and fundraising clinics
- A personal fundraising page + fundraising assistance
- Team Gear – A Racing to End Lupus season training shirt + race day jersey
- Pre-race team celebration (tickets available for purchase for friends and family)
- The incredible feeling of making your miles matter to help end lupus!
Fundraising Commitment: $5000 minimum
By joining the Lupus Foundation of America’s 2026 TCS New York City Marathon Team, runners committ to raise (or donate) the fundraising commitment for the Lupus Foundation of America, in addition to paying the race registration fee directly to the New York Road Runners (NYRR) and a $25 registration fee to the Lupus Foundation of America, the latter of which will be applied towards your fundraising commitment.
Already have a guaranteed entry through NYRR but want to Race to End Lupus with the Lupus Foundation of America? If you already secured a guaranteed entry for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, we invite you run with the team as we Race to End Lupus.
