The Lupus Foundation was proud to be an official charity partner of the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon. Our inaugural team Raced to End Lupus at the largest marathon in the world – starting on Staten Island at the foot of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, running through the neighborhoods of Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx before ending in Manhattan, crossing the finish line in Central Park - while raising over $28,000 for lupus research, education and support programs, and giving a voice to the millions who suffer from the brutal impact of this disease. We can't wait for 2026!
Runners who join the Lupus Foundation of America as we Race to End Lupus in NYC, Receive:
- 16-week training programs

- Pre-race team celebration (tickets available for purchase for friends and family)

Fundraising Commitment: $5000 minimum (This fundraising minimum reflects 2025 and may be subject to change.)*
By joining the Lupus Foundation of America’s 2026 TCS New York City Marathon Team, runners committ to raise (or donate) the fundraising commitment* for the Lupus Foundation of America, in addition to paying the race registration fee directly to the New York Road Runners (NYRR) and a $25 registration fee to the Lupus Foundation of America, the latter of which will be applied towards your fundraising commitment.*
Already have a guaranteed entry through NYRR but want to Race to End Lupus with the Lupus Foundation of America? If you already secured a guaranteed entry for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon, we invite you run with the team as we Race to End Lupus.
