Who We Are
Over 30 years ago, a handful of people in North Carolina dreamed of serving those in our community who had been affected by Lupus. It was this dream that lead to the formation of the Lupus Foundation of America, Winston-Triad Chapter. In time, a similar group of individuals were inspired to create the Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter. Over the decades, the two chapters have changed thousands of lives because of a commitment that has remained focused on making a difference in the Lupus community. In 2013, the two respective chapters joined and formed the Lupus Foundation of America, North Carolina Chapter.
Board of Directors
The LFANC is proud to be led by our Board of Directors, a statewide team of committed people who are passionate about the mission, driving positive change for those affected by Lupus in NC through governance, strategic vision, and fund development.
