Study Underscores Need for Further Research in Lupus Management
Disease activity in people with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) varies with some experiencing more frequent and intense activity than others. A Canadian study found that people with frequent persistence of active disease exhibit high disease activity over time, and even with longstanding disease. Knowledge gaps exist and must be addressed in order to improve disease management and treatment for people with high lupus disease activity. Learn about living and coping with lupus.
