
Andrew T. Brophy
Board Chair
Andrew Brophy began his role as the Board Chair of the Lupus Foundation of America’s (LFA) national board of directors in June of 2021. He originally joined the LFA’s board in 2018 and served as its Treasurer for three years.
Brophy provides valuable non-profit experience to the LFA board, having served on the board of trustees at the ALS Association (ALSA) for nearly 20 years. As a trustee, Brophy served as Chairs of the Advocacy, Communications and Executive Compensation Review Committees. During his tenure, he helped to grow the ALSA Public Policy Conference from 100 to 1,000 participants.
In addition to his leadership role with the LFA, Brophy serves as the President of Brophy Properties Inc., and has built a distinguished commercial real estate career, spanning more than 30 years as a senior executive at Brophy Properties, Inc. in Washington.
