Host a Fundraising Event

We need your help to raise funds to support the Heartland Chapter's programs and services. Use your passion to raise funds for lupus by planning an event or party. We can provide you with ideas and support and we can even promote your event on social media.

Raise Funds on Facebook

Facebook makes it easy to tell others how you are working to end lupus and invite them to join you. Start a fundraiser to raise money for the Heartland Chapter and rally your friends and family to help you reach your goal. You can also have fun and raise awareness of lupus at the same time!

Here are a few ways to create a fundraiser on Facebook:

  • Start a birthday fundraiser when prompted by Facebook on your birthday
  • Add a button to any post that mentions lupus.
  • Start a fundraiser at any time, for any reason.
  • Signed up for a Walk to End Lupus Now event? You can integrate Facebook Fundraiser into your personal fundraising page.

Every penny of the money raised through your fundraisers comes directly to us and supports our mission of improving the quality of life for people with lupus.  Through a fundraiser, your friends and family can donate to the Heartland Chapter in just a couple of clicks.

And when you ask for donations, it gives donors a connection that we can't offer: you! When the request comes from someone they know, people can give more comfortably and with a greater sense of why their donation is important.
