The Lupus Foundation of America, Heartland Chapter has compiled these physician directories to assist people who wish to seek the assistance of a doctor specializing in the diagnosis or treatment of lupus within our chapter territory of Missouri, Kansas, central and southern Illinois.
We are not able to evaluate the professional qualification and competence of individual physicians included in the directory. Inclusion of a particular physician should not be interpreted as a recommendation or referral by the Lupus Foundation of America, Heartland Chapter, nor does the omission of any individual physician indicate disapproval.
These directories only include specialists in rheumatic diseases, called rheumatologists. Rheumatologists are doctors who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of more than 100 rheumatic diseases such as lupus.
