"Let's Ride for Lupus" Third-Party Fundraiser
The 2nd annual #AmberStrong "Let's Ride for Lupus" will be held on Saturday, September 17th! This fun event planned by Amy Bianchi and Amber Destefano is hosted this year by Midwest Maniacs Motorcycle Club and will be held at the Sheridan American Legion at 406 E. 10th St. All proceeds will be going to our Lupus Foundation of America, Indiana Chapter.
Last year's ride raised an awesome $6,000 but Amy, Amber and the Midwest Maniacs are working hard to beat that amount!
Registration 9:00-10:45 am
Kickstands up @11:00 am
Walkers @2:00 pm
Cost is $20 for a single rider and $25 for a bike with a passenger. Participants who are not riding will be able to walk the Monon Trail near the Sheridan American Legion starting at 2:00 pm to show their support.
This will be a great day with:
- Food: Titus donuts and coffee in the morning. For dinner, Rackz BBQ has donated 30 pounds of pulled pork, Firehouse Subs donated meat platters and tea and lemonade, and Amy and her friends will be making side dishes.
- Raffle: Raffle tickets are $10 each. Prizes include 4 tattoos, $1,000 La-Z-Boy recliner, and a hot air balloon ride for two people from Circle Center Balloon Team. You don't have to be in attendance to win any of the raffle prizes and tickets can be purchased by contacting Amy at 317.697.2048.
