Color Street Foundation Raises Awareness of Lupus During Autoimmune Disease Awareness Month
The Color Street Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Color Street, a company specializing in nail polish strips, recently released a limited edition nail strip in honor of Autoimmune Disease Awareness Month in March.
Autoimmune diseases affect millions of people worldwide and often go unnoticed due to the lack of awareness and education about these conditions. The Color Street Foundation aims to change this by raising awareness and supporting organizations that are dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by autoimmune diseases.
In addition to the limited edition nail strip, the Color Street Foundation is supporting three organizations, including the Lupus Foundation of America. The Lupus Foundation of America will receive $50,000 to support our mission of improving the lives of people with lupus.
"Our collaboration with the Color Street Foundation demonstrates why corporate partnerships are essential to our mission of a world free of lupus. Through this collaboration, we are able to raise awareness of lupus among Color Street stylists and customers, and we greatly appreciate their commitment to supporting our cause by donating towards our efforts. Together, we can make a significant impact in the lives of those affected by lupus," said Desiree Wienand, National Director of Corporate Engagement at the Lupus Foundation of America.
By partnering with the Lupus Foundation of America, and their generous donation, the Color Street Foundation has chosen to put lupus at the forefront of their campaign to shed more light on the mysterious disease and support the programs and research that make a difference in the lives of people with lupus.
The limited edition nail strip, Infinite Hope, features a glittery snow white shade with multicolored abstract butterfly motifs. It is available for purchase on the Color Street website and through independent Color Street stylists. These stylists across the country, some of whom also have lupus, have shared programs and information about lupus, helping to increase the understanding of the disease and resources available to help those impacted.
Corporate partnerships are crucial in raising awareness and providing support for people with lupus and other autoimmune diseases. Through funding research and programs, providing resources, and offering support to those living with lupus, corporate partnerships can help the Lupus Foundation of America improve the quality of life for millions of people worldwide.
