Lupus Foundation of America Comments in Support of Administration’s Plan to Reform Part D Rebate System
The Lupus Foundation of America recently submitted comments in support of the Department of Health and Human Services’ proposed rule to reform the rebate system in Medicare Part D. We applaud the administration’s efforts to fix the broken rebate system in an effort to lower prescription drug costs for the more than 43 million Americans served by Part D.
People living with lupus take an average of eight prescription drugs to manage their symptoms, and we believe that this rule will lower costs for them and the millions of other Americans living with serious and chronic conditions.
