My son Eric was diagnosed with Discoid Lupus Erythematosus at seven years old. After many years of being misdiagnosed with heat rash, eczema & other medical conditions the problem was still not solved with treatment. I finally put my foot down and he received proper testing and was diagnosed with lupus. After years of being treated differently at school for his rashes, hair issues and aches and pains, he was finally able to receive the treatment he needed. After a long journey Eric is sixteen, he’s doing amazing and is remission. To all my Lupus Warriors keep fighting!
