For the sixth consecutive year, the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative is back with players raising awareness and potentially funds to support charities they care about while wearing custom-designed cleats on game day. Several NFL stars have chosen to support the Lupus Foundation of America and our efforts to improve the quality of life for the many people living with lupus.

This year, the following NFL players are raising awareness of lupus:

• Anthony Walker Jr., Cleveland Browns linebacker continues to raise lupus awareness by honoring his best friend Hope, who passed away from lupus.
• Chris Claybrooks, Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback, is honoring his mother who lives with lupus by supporting the Lupus Foundation of America.
• Darius Leonard, Indianapolis Colts linebacker, is honoring his sister who is living with lupus. This is the third year that Leonard has participated in My Cause My Cleats while supporting the Lupus Foundation of America.
• Daron Payne,  Washington Football Team defensive tackle, is honoring his mother and bringing attention to the daily challenges of living with lupus. You can bid on Payne’s cleats now until December 13. The donations will go to charities supported by Payne, which includes the Lupus Foundation of America.
• Malik Jefferson, Indianapolis Colts linebacker, is also raising lupus awareness for his mother and others battling the disease.
