My name is Erika and I recently have had a positive ANA test. I can't say I was surprised, however I was devastated. Coming from a long family history of lupus, I have seen the worse, 2 (possibly 3) uncles have passed from it and my beautiful mother (by the grace of God) is still with us but living and fighting lupus every day. About ten years ago, she too almost lost her life to lupus.
The power of prayer and the new found discoveries with medicine is why she is here today and I hope for more advancements in medicine for myself and the future generations that may have to fight this horrible disease!
