My name is Kiara. I’m 29 years old and I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I am a full time single mother of 3 daughters and 2 months after I gave birth to my oldest, first born child I had a stroke and blood clot. A year later on November 4, 2008 I found out that I had lupus SLE. It was very hard, but having lupus and learning a lot about it over the years, I have gained such good friend that I am very close to that has lupus too. I know that I am not alone in this lupus fight and I have been spreading my lupus story all over the world. All I want to do is inspire others.
