I recently lost my aunt to this disease. She had been fighting this disease for nearly two decades and in that time I had to watch her suffer from a chronic illness that isn't curable. I want to honor my aunts passing and get involved and join the fight for lupus. In my heart I believe that this is what she wants me to do and I will use her story to share with the world. I really want to help so that another family doesn't have to feel the pain I feel now that my aunt is no longer with us.
