My name is Johnnetta and I recently lost my daughter Tynecia to lupus. She passed away on 1/6/2019 just 3 days after her 28th birthday. She was initially diagnosed with systemic lupus in 2014. The lupus initially attacked her blood platelets causing her to have to have many transfusions.

She was a good mother of a now 3 year old little girl named Tylar. She fought long and hard before her heart gave out. She was constantly in pain and fatigued but still smiled and tried to help others anyway. She had a huge heart and would participate in everything that was related to raising money and awareness for lupus even though she would be drained or didn't feel up to it she would do it anyway. Even though my daughter suffered she did so silently and she fought to survive this disease. When she gained her wings she was at peace with it and she was tired. It was devastating for all of us and because she believed and fought so hard. As her family we will continue her fight to raise awareness for lupus.
