Put On Purple Wisconsin
Friday, May 18, 2018, is a day Wisconsin rallies together to bring greater attention to lupus by wearing purple and lighting up venues. We need your help to raise awareness and rally public support! You can do this by proudly wearing purple (a purple wristband, shirt, tie, etc.) on May 18th – and telling those around you why.
We will be splashing purple around town by LIGHTING UP PURPLE. All kicking off with General Mitchell International Airport MKE signage and the Pfister Hotel, both are the first two major landmarks to sign on to light up purple.
Mayor Tom Barrett will issue an official proclamation stating “Friday, May 18, 2018, PUT ON PURPLE DAY”
We are challenging YOU! Why not wear purple and ask those around you to wear purple too? AND why not light up your business or home? Take a photo and share it via social media and email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will post photos throughout the day and days following.
