Summer Camp is Back!

The Heartland Chapter's Summer Jam Youth Retreat is a weekend camp for girls age 12-19 who have lupus. Campers will be supervised by compassionate camp counselors who are also living with lupus. Heartland Chapter staff and volunteers will also be on hand all weekend. This is a great opportunity to meet others your age who understand your health struggles while also learning about your disease and having fun!

Check-in: Friday, June 3 at 3:30 p.m.
Check-out: Sunday, June 5 at 11:30 a.m.
Transportation is not provided

The Details

• Campers, counselors, staff and volunteers must be fully vaccinated (and boosted if applicable) against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination or have a COVID-19 viral test (not an at-home test) no more than 3 days prior to camp and present your negative results when you arrive. No exceptions will be made.
• Campers may bring one female friend in their age group.
• Campers stay in cabins with others in their age group and their camp counselor.
• Meals begin with dinner on Friday and end with breakfast on Sunday in the Trout Lodge dining hall.
• Volunteer nurse available to assist with medication as needed.

YMCA Trout Lodge

YMCA Trout Lodge, just 90 minutes from St. Louis, is a family-favorite non-profit resort with a whole host of amenities and facilities all within walking distance. Everything is nestled into gently rolling forest-covered hills beside a beautiful lake.

Registration Deadline is April 4, 2022, so don't delay! 

$50 per person registration fee is required which is fully refundable unless you cancel after the registration deadline. Scholarships available to cover the registration fee.
