17th Annual NC Lupus Summit

Patients, caregivers, and the medical community are invited to join us for a day devoted to those affected by lupus.  The Annual NC Lupus Summit is the largest educational conference on lupus in the state and provides a variety of discussions led by physicians and other experts dedicated to solving the cruel mystery of lupus. While lupus can create barriers for patients, this year's summit will help you learn how to break down the barriers and live with no boundaries.

Prior to joining LFANC, Jenny Prince was the Executive Director of the Johnston YMCA in Charlotte.  She brings experience in fundraising, relationship building, program development and oversite, and staff leadership. Join us for a conversation with Jenny & Lupus Advocates as we explore their journeys and learn how they broke down the barriers of lupus to live with no boundaries.

Gentle Morning Yoga: Participants can expect to experience a gentle, deep, inner exploration into yoga

Caregiving: Loving Someone with Lupus (Caregivers Only Session)

Caregiver responsibilities can be overwhelming and draining, but taking care of yourself is one of the most important things you can do. The stronger you remain—physically and mentally—the more support you will be able to offer. To adequately give care, you must take care of yourself. This session is designed specifically for caregivers ONLY. It will discuss concrete ways of how to take care of yourself, including tips and advice.

Financial Planning with a Chronic Illness
