Lupus Education Conferences

Every year the LFA Heartland Chapter holds two lupus education conferences. These conferences are educational opportunities geared towards those affected by lupus and health care professionals. They revolve around new research, new treatments, coping skills, pain & disease management, as well as lupus diagnosis. The participants learn from a panel of experts that although lupus is a life threatening disease, quality of life and longevity can be attainable for a person living with lupus.

Lupus Education Workshops

Having lupus can make the demands of everyday life challenging. These free mini educational workshops are designed to help people living with lupus and their loved ones find the support and information they need to live well with lupus. Topics focus on coping, care giving, pain management, lupus overview for the newly diagnosed, and advances in lupus research.
