Meet Barbara Hyle, Karen Jordan, Michelle Beverly, Michelle Young, Sheneka Cole, Patricia Kim, Anneke Gilliam, and Crystal Purnell.

Fifty Shades of Awesome walks in memory of our dear friend, Leesa Sengaphone, who lost her fight with Lupus on Feb 1, 2013. Never allowing this disease to control her life, she lived every moment with strength and grace. She brought sunshine to our lives which always beamed from her spirit. Her motto was to "Live, Laugh, Love" and she did for all her days. She spoke of doing the Lupus walk one day. Unfortunately, she never got the chance, so her friends and family carry on for her and many other lupus warriors.

We commit ourselves throughout the year to support the efforts and mission of the Lupus Foundation of America, Georgia Chapter, from fundraising events to raising awareness at corporations with Lupus Education Lunch and Learn events. Fighting lupus is a worthy cause and we know that together we are making a difference for the lupus community in Georgia.

In 2016, Lupus Warrior CRYSTAL PURNELL joined our team. Since her diagnosis in August 2004, she has battled this awful disease. As a working mother trying to maintain a normal life for her family, she is an inspiration to us all!!!

Since 2013, Team Fifty Shades of Awesome has reached out to everyone we knew by email, text, and Facebook messages. Hosting annual silent auctions and other fun events to raise money and awareness for lupus!
