Why I Walk: Sabrina Sanders
I am here for my 2nd walk because I am passionate about fighting for a cure! 2017 has been a very difficult year so far and I reached a new level of scary in my battle with this disease. Through the experience, I learned what's truly important to me...my children and my family. I was in the ER for the 4th time after surgery and hemorrhaging uncontrollably. In triage I was suddenly unable to hear, then my vision started to go and then I watched my own BP drop to 60/30.... There was barely time to talk to God before I lost consciousness but I managed to say, "okay God, so this is it. Just watch over my babies". I praise God for bringing me through what seemed impossible and I'm happy to share my story of surviving this battle with Lupus so far. I am not going down without a fight! I am so thankful for my team and their support here today and always! I am also thankful for the LFA and the people who pulled this walk together for us today. Together we will make a difference!
My name is Sabrina Sanders . I am from Tallahassee, FL and I Walk For Lupus Now for myself, my "Lupie Sisters", and everyone fighting for a cure!
