2021 Congressional District Meetings

Congress needs to hear the voices of lupus advocates this year!

Several times throughout the year, including for most of the month of August, Congress recesses in order to give Senators and Representatives a chance to return home and hear from their constituents about the issues that matter most to them. Time away from the packed schedules of Washington allows members to connect with those they represent and learn how they can better serve their needs.

In 2021, it's more important than ever that Congress hears from lupus advocates like you. Will they hear your voice?

These recesses present a tremendous opportunity for lupus advocates to meet with their members of Congress to tell the lupus story - this is how lupus has affected me, and this is what you and your colleagues in Congress can do to join the fight against this devastating disease. Meeting with your members of Congress is easy, it's empowering, and it will make an enormous impact!

Interested in meeting with your members of Congress?

Send us an email and let us know! Not sure if this campaign is for you? Let us show you how easy and empowering it is to meet with your members of Congress! We'll work with you personally to get your meeting (or meetings!) scheduled, prepare to tell your lupus story in an impactful way, learn the issues, and help you practice for your meetings.

NOTE: due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic most offices are still accommodating virtual meetings – we encourage you to connect with them in the way that makes you most comfortable.
