We offer a range of programs and services to help you cope with the demands of living with lupus. If you need to talk, we have volunteers who have gone through what you are experiencing. If you need a medical referral, we are ready to assist you. Each program is designed to help you and your loved ones to cope and live with lupus. 

By registering to receive Chapter publications, you will be invited to participate in Chapter programs and services. Sign up by contacting the Chapter office. We provide these programs and services without charge, and all information you share with Chapter staff and volunteers will be kept confidential.

The Texas Gulf Coast Chapter serves people in the 44 counties in the Texas Gulf Coast Region and El Paso.

PROGRAM & EVENTS CALENDAR

Education Programs

The Chapter offers education programs on the medical, social, and psychological aspects of lupus. These may be whole-day, half-day or mini sessions with guest speakers and workshops, or may take one of the following forms:

         New support group facilitator training courses or refresher courses for existing support group leaders.  

         Video and telephone conferences.

         Education programs for health care professionals

         Educational programs for all participants (e.g., men, women, families, couples, caregivers, young adults)

         Lupus Library series at Houston Public Librarty area locations featuring one hour presentations on different topics related to lupus
