As with any organization, goals must be set to steer the organization toward success. For the Lupus Foundation of America, Michigan & Northwest Ohio Chapter an annual strategic plan outlining goals and initiatives that the group hopes to undertake is developed by the Board of Directors, who, along with the President/CEO, oversee the accomplishment of these objectives. Member and/or public input is always welcomed.

We maintain committees that focus on continuous improvement in the following areas:

• Education and Awareness
• Finance
• Chapter/Membership Development, Service, and Communications
• Board and Volunteer Development and Communications
• Public Relations, Marketing, and Promotions
• Medical Coordination

We are always looking for enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to serve on these committees and on our Board of Directors.
