Support Services
Here at the Lupus Foundation of America, New Mexico Chapter (LFANM) we are committed to providing help and support to those living with lupus in New Mexico.
Support Groups
We conduct support groups for those living with lupus and their families. Currently we have support groups that meet once a month in Albuquerque and Las Cruces. For up to date information on locations and times, please call our dedicated support group phone number. The recording will provide you with the information and you may leave a message for any questions or comments that you have. These messages will be answered as promptly as possible. Support Group Hotline: (505) 255-4188
Information
We are also here to answer questions and offer support for anyone in need. We have excellent materials on lupus that are free to the public. If you are looking for resources like doctors and facilities, we cannot make a recommendation as an organization, but we do have a list of doctors and facilities that offer medical support for lupus.
Public Awareness
LFANM is dedicated to furthering public awareness of lupus. We participate in many health fairs that are open to the public across the state. This year we are looking forward to media exposure and other public awareness programs. From public service announcements to the Albuquerque Journal brown wrapper program, we are working hard to raise awareness. If you have any opportunities to raise public awareness, please contact us.
