The Partnership for Prescription Assistance brings together America's pharmaceutical companies, doctors, other health care providers, patient advocacy organizations and community groups to help qualifying patients who lack prescription coverage get the medicines they need through the public or private program that's right for them. Many will get them free or nearly free.

NeedyMeds provides current and accurate information on over 2100 brand name and generic drugs covered by patient-assistance programs with specific guidelines relating to each program. Additionally, NeedyMeds maintains a national listing of free and low cost healthcare clinics, and other organizations that provide financial assistance for a variety of diagnoses and health conditions.
