Advocacy & Legislation

The LFA Government Relations team is responsible for federal, state, and international legislation and issues that affect people with lupus. We work with Members of Congress at the federal level, and with our chapters at the state level to raise awareness and advocate for research funding.

There is no cure for lupus and only one drug has been approved specifically for lupus in the past 50 years! We will continue working with Congress and federal and state agencies to improve the lives of the more than 1.5 million Americans affected by lupus.

URGENT! Help Us Solve The Cruel Mystery™ Sign the petition and urge Congress to provide more funds for lupus research!
