Dr. Laura Coleman
Dr. Coleman is a registered dietitian who received her Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, Tufts University. Her early work focused on metabolic changes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, and she later began work on lupus. She is a member of the advisory board for the Lupus Foundation of America (Lupus Now publication) and a member of their patient education materials committee. She has published multiple articles and book chapters on diet and rheumatic disease, and edited a book on that topic for health care professionals (Humana Press). Dr. Coleman is an Associate Research Scientist at the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation in Wisconsin.
