Lupus Awareness Month Radio Public Service Announcements
The Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) has developed tools in English and Spanish for radio stations to promote awareness of lupus during the observance of National Lupus Awareness Month. Julian Lennon - Global Ambassador
Musician and philanthropist Julian Lennon is the Lupus Foundation of America's Global Ambassador. He is working with us to help spread awareness of lupus in memory of his childhood friend, Lucy Vodden, who passed away from lupus in 2009. It was his drawing of Lucy created while Julian was in kindergarden that inspired his father, John, to write the song, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds." Fact of the Day
The LFA has prepared live announcer read Lupus Fact of the Day scripts in English and Spanish. Radio station air personalities can deliver these facts every day during National Lupus Awareness month or they can be posted to the station's website along with a link to the observance's page on the LFA's website - lupus.org/awareness or lupusawarenessmonth.org.
