Financial Assistance
The LFA is not able to provide individuals with financial assistance. We may, however, be able to refer you to other agencies or organizations that can be of help. We encourage you to contact your nearest LFA Chapter as they may be able to assist you in locating local resources. You also can contact your county Department of Social Services to find out about available services in your area.
This section of the website includes a number of online and other resources that are helpful to people with lupus in need of financial and other assistance. Use the menu to the left to navigate family and patient resources. In addition, you should review the articles in the Government Services section.
Two excellent government websites include GovBenefits.gov and DisabilityInfo.gov. These serve as portals to many Federal, State and local government websites that offer many services and programs for people with chronic conditions.
