Organizations Who Support the LFA through Cause-Related Marketing
Every corporate relationship is important to the Lupus Foundation of America. These relationships provide LFA an opportunity to help reach people, recruit volunteers and raise dollars and awareness of this debilitating disease. Schwan’s Home Service, Inc., a nationwide convenient home delivery service of easy-to-prepare meals, has a multi-faceted partnership with the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) to support lupus awareness and research. One component is an online promotion which donates to LFA 10 percent of the proceeds from all orders submitted online using a special promotional code (LF) during a 4-week period ending September 19, 2009. Throughout the year, Schwan’s also will be hosting a Truckload Sales Event around the country where a charitable contribution based on the event sales will be made to the LFA by Schwan’s Home Service. And finally, beginning in October 2009 through December 31, 2009, Schwan’s Home Service will offer a Fundraising Gift Certificate program where Schwan’s Home Service will make a charitable contribution to the LFA based on sales of gift certificates purchased using the designated LFA promotion code (24043).
Throughout the remainder of 2009, Schwan’s Home Service will promote the partnership with the LFA to its more than 3 million customers to help increase lupus awareness.
