Programs & Events

The LFA conducts educational, fund-raising and advocacy activities in communities throughout the nation.

Programs

The Chapter is the only LFA chapter in Indiana and serves 92 counties. The group provides awareness and education for the signs and symptoms of lupus for early diagnosis and treatment. The Chapter provides free literature to patients, offers presentations to groups and provides complimentary patient education materials to physicians. It also participates in dozens of health fairs each year to help promote lupus awareness in the community. The group donates literature to libraries and sets up displays to educate community members about the disease.  Support groups are offered throughout the state.
