The LFA conducts educational, fund-raising and advocacy activities in communities throughout the nation.

Programs and Events

The Chapter is the only LFA chapter in Indiana and provides awareness and education for the signs and symptoms of lupus for early diagnosis and treatment. The Chapter provides free literature to patients, offers presentations to groups and provides complimentary patient education materials to physicians.

May 10, 2013 - Nationally recognized "World Lupus Day"

May 17, 2013 - National "Put on Purple" Day - wear your lupus purple with pride to help raise awareness!  Guys, too, wear that purple tie!

May 18, 2013 - Northwest IN Walk to End Lupus Now, Lake County Fairgrounds, Crown Point, IN.  Registration: 9:30 am, Walk Start 11:00 a.m.  Register today!

June 20 , 2013 - Central IN Walk Kick-off Event - check back soon for details!
