2012 Awards Luncheon Celebrating 2011 Volunteers

On February 11, 2012 the LFAI celebrated the outstanding volunteers from 2012 at its annual Volunteer Awards Luncheon.  Awardees and guests enjoyed lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Oak Brook, IL and were treated to an awards presentation during the awards ceremony.

LFAI President & CEO, Charles Brummell, opened the festivities by saying, in part:

“It’s timely that today’s luncheon is right before Valentine’s Day.  Today is a celebration – a love letter – to those who have dedicated so much time and energy to the battle against lupus. This is our way of saying thank you.”
