Support & Services

The Lupus Foundation of America, DC/MD/VA Chapter offers the following services:
We are committed to providing support, information and resources for those living with lupus and their family and friends.  Please contact our office at (202)-349-1167 or (888)-349-1167 to speak with an area representative.
 
 
 
The Lupus Foundation of America, DC/MD/VA Chapter's support groups in Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland are led by trained professionals who understand the issues that challenge a person with lupus. The groups emphasize emotional support, as well as information and education. Friends and families are welcome!
 
The Lupus Foundation of America, DC/MD/VA Chapter's support groups are free of charge because of funding from member contributions and fundraising events like the Walk for Lupus Now in DC, Baltimore, and Richmond.

Receive the support you need without ever leaving your home. You can share feelings, exchange information, develop skills, problem solve, and make decisions all within a safe and friendly environment. Join others like you who live with lupus. The group is facilitated by a licensed, clinical social worker, free of charge, and open to those 18 years and older.  All you need is an email address!
