Volunteers Make it Happen!
LFA-DC/MD/VA was founded by volunteers in 1974, and to this day relies heavily on the support of loyal volunteers to promote the mission of this organization. There are many ways to volunteer with us. Our volunteers assist the Foundation in such activities as health fairs, educational classes, expos, community outreach projects, the email Buddies programs, stuffing envelopes, collating materials, translating foreign languages, etc. We always need help and you can partake in many different ways -- how much and how long is always up to you. We are very flexible!
If you are interested in volunteering, please email us or call (888) 787-5380. If you are interested in joining a committee, see the information on this website under LFA- DC/MD/VA Committees.
