Georgia Lupus Support Network

Join or create a support group and help us reach and serve patients. Our groups provide encouragement and coping skills in more than 20 different statewide locations.

 

The Walk for Lupus Now – May 8, 2010

Start a team, join a team, or be a walker! Help us grow our local and national signature event by raising funds and awareness.  The funds raised in the Walk ensure we continue and expand our chapter’s valuable programs and our fight for all those living with lupus. Join passionate volunteers on the planning committees for the Atlanta walk and help us build new Walks in other Georgia cities.

 

Lupus Awareness Day and Advocacy in Georgia and Washington D.C. – February and March 2010

Join us, your voice counts; bring your family and friends to the 3rd Lupus Awareness Day at the Georgia State Capitol on February 17, 2010 to raise awareness and support for lupus.  Support our chapter calls to action on lupus related healthcare issues by emailing/calling your elected officials. Join the Georgia Chapter in Washington D.C. at the national advocacy program in March 15 and 16, 2010.

“A Night of Hope” – November 13, 2009

This evening event will raise funds and awareness for the Georgia chapter honoring two distinguished local rheumatologists, Dr. Kimberley Wilson and Dr. Sam Lim and NFL player, Von Hutchins.

 

Living with Lupus Education Series – Ongoing

Attend our FREE, ongoing Newly Diagnosed Seminars and our Annual Lupus Symposium with medical experts sharing valuable information in the management and treatment of lupus.
