In May 2012, Simone Watson and Ashmith Jean Loiseau, both Clark Atlanta students, lost their battles with lupus. In their memory, this college symposium composed of students from all AUC institutions was created in an effort to educate our young adults about this disease.

Medical experts, peers and more will discuss, interpret, and deliver pertinent information to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of lupus on college campuses in Atlanta. For more information please forward questions to Teri Emond at temond@lfaga.org  or call 770-333-5930.
