Make an Online Donation Now to Prevent and Cure Lupus
The Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut Chapter relies on your tax deductible contributions to fund vital research to find the causes and cure for lupus, to educate health care professionals about development in diagnosis and treatment, and to provide support to individuals affected by lupus.
You can choose to make a general, memorial, or honorary donation either online using our secure server or offline by mail, phone or fax. You also may establish an automatic monthly donation.

Individual Donation
Donate in your name or your organization's name to support LFA efforts.
Donate Stock
Please consider a donation of stock to the Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut Chapter. Stock transfers can be made by electronic transfer of the shares from your account directly to the Chapter’s brokerage account. Prior to transferring the stock, please have your financial advisor contact the CEO/President at 860-269-6240.
Planned Giving
Please consider supporting the Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut Chapter through a planned gift. Planned giving helps The Chapter continue its important work by allowing us to provide support for those individuals with lupus as well as to fund the much needed research to help to find a cure.
Charitable Gift Annuity
This is a contract between the Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut Chapter and the donor. In exchange for the charitable gift annuity donation, CTLFA pays a fixed payment for life to the donor or the designated individual(s) who has previously been agreed upon by CTLFA and the donor. The benefit to this form of planned giving is:
- Guaranteed fixed payments for life, a portion of which is not taxable
- A charitable income tax deduction for a part of the gift
- Reduced capital gains tax
Bequest
Another method of planned giving is a bequest. This can be a simple provision in your Will naming the Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut Chapter as the beneficiary. It can state the following:
"I bequeath the sum of ___________dollars ($_______) to the Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut Chapter for its general charitable purposes."
or
"I devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate to the Lupus Foundation of America, Connecticut Chapter for its general charitable purposes."
